Help us as we operate under the principle that youth need to be healthy in mind and body in order to actively participate in reformation programs. Oregon Youth Authority (OYA) is seeking a permanent, part-time Dentist to perform all medically necessary dental services and procedures for all youth at MacLaren Youth Correctional Facility (MYCF) and youth residing at the Oak Creek facility and the Jackie Winters Transition Program (JWTP). Travel to other OYA facilities, to provide services, may also be required. You will ensure that an electronic dental record is established on all these youth. As the dentist, you will oversee the priority list of dental treatment needs for the youth provide dental services in a culturally informed manner and using a trauma-informed approach. In addition to providing dental services and procedures at MYCF, Oak Creek and JWTP, you will need to provide dental services for youth from other close-custody facilities. YOUR ROLE AS OYA DENTIST:

Additional Information: Relocation Reimbursement: OYA is prepared to offer relocation reimbursement to the successful candidate. This will come as a reimbursement and follow State of Oregon Department of Administrative Services Policy 40.055.20 which allows for reimbursement of expenses with receipts within the following categories (limits per category) not to exceed $3,000.00.
