General Summary

In anticipation of a possible opening, the Department of History at Illinois State University is creating a pool of applicants who can teach in-person or online courses in Ancient History, pre-1500 Europe, Africa, or Middle East. The History Department serves approximately 500 majors and is composed of approximately 25 TT and NTT faculty. The typical class size ranges from 20 to 88 students.

Master's degree in History

Candidates must be able to demonstrate oral proficiency in the English language as a requirement for this position, as mandated by state law.
