JOB SUMMARY: Manager, Global Logistics - Compliance is responsible for developing the vision and strategic plan of moving WWT product on a world-wide basis. This position will be responsible for developing a cross-trained Logistics team of 2-3 direct reports and 6-8 dotted line reports, building robust processes capable of absorbing significant volume increases and enhancing logistic related communications. In addition to logistics/distribution data analytics both inbound and outbound, carrier performance, systems, freight bill, audit, and payment.

Supervise team and assist with the following day to day and strategic activities:

  • Manage and provide guidance to a team of trade compliance specialists in the US.
  • Ensure WWT regulatory compliance with all US and foreign government customs laws and regulations for business operations.
  • Maintain all file documentation per US and foreign government agencies and WWT Compliance Manual requirements.
  • Maintain part number database and their associated export/import classifications. (HTS, ECCN, CCATS, etc.).
  • Maintain and monitor all import and export shipments for required AES filings, license determinations, and denied party screening processes.
  • Interface with WWT's customers and WWT internal global support groups to assist in PO creation to ensure compliance to global trade requirements for timely and efficient processing of international orders.
  • Maintain International customer profiles for all WWT programs.
  • Assist in maintaining a documented Internal Compliance Program in accordance with guidelines of the European (EU) Commission and other relevant European agencies in other non EU countries;
  • Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with applicable global regulations.
  • Drive the continuous improvement of the Company's Compliance Program, including automating processes and procedures;
  • Support all activities relating to customs audits, investigations, disclosures, etc.
  • Partner with numerous organizations globally within the company, including but not limited to, Legal, Logistics, Supply Chain, Sales, IT, to develop and execute defined procedures

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience in the field.
  • A minimum of 10 years' progressive experience in related to, or in Transportation, Supply Chain, or Logistics fields.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in the management and leadership of a team.
  • Expert knowledge of Supply Chain & Logistics terminology and lingo.
  • Knowledge of and experience with regional customs regulations on exports, import experience. US Trade regulations experience is a plus.
  • Knowledge of and experience with import/export documents and regulations supporting global business.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with different layers of the organization.
  • Experience with Global Trade Management systems. (Oracle GTM, Amber Road, etc.).
  • Proficient in web-based applications and MS Office.
  • Experience and understanding of VAT regulations a plus.
  • Experience and knowledge of other global import/export regulations a plus.
  • Qualified candidates must be interested in working within fast-paced, changing environment.
  • Must be fluent in English, any other language is a plus.
  • Must possess an elevated level of integrity and professionalism, including in dealing with complex and sensitive matters.
  • Broker's License is a plus.
