Job Description
Must Have Technical/Functional Skills/Knowledge/Experience * Machining, Casting, forging * Familiar with special processes such as: * Solution hardening, Aging, Case hardening * Anodizing, Plating and Painting * Welding, Brazing, Sintering etc * Fluorescents penetrant inspection * Magnetic particles inspection * Quality and Inspection Knowledge * Knowledge of AS9102, AS9100 and AS13100 standards. * Good Knowledge of Quality tools APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC and 8D. * Knowledge of GD&T; (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) * Project Management & Risk Management * Effective Communication and presentation skills * Negotiation with Suppliers and Managing stakeholders Roles & Responsibilities A Supplier Quality Manufacturing Engineer (SQME) is responsible for ensuring that supplier-provided materials, components, and manufacturing processes meet quality, regulatory, and customer requirements. Your Responsibilities * Collaborate with suppliers to drive continuous improvement across quality and manufacturing processes. * Conduct supplier audits to verify compliance with quality, regulatory, and customer requirements. * Review and Approval of Supplier FAIR and PPAP Submissions. * Identify, investigate, and resolve supplier quality issues in a timely and effective manner. * Monitor supplier performance using quality metrics, defect trends, and delivery performance indicators. * Implement corrective and preventive actions to reduce recurring defects and improve process stability. * Work closely with manufacturing, engineering, procurement, quality teams to maintain product quality. * Support defect reduction initiatives and improve supplier process capability. * Promote operational excellence across the supply chain through proactive supplier engagement.
