Escrow Officer

Location: Rancho Santa Fe, CA

Base Salary: $74,000-$90,000 + Commission Potential

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid California Escrow License or certification, if applicable.
• Additional training in escrow, title, real estate, mortgage lending, or related fields preferred.

• Minimum 3+ years of direct Escrow Officer experience managing residential and/or commercial real estate transactions.
• Proven ability to independently manage escrow files from opening through closing and funding.
• Must have an established book of business generating a minimum of $30K-$40K annually.
• Strong network of local real estate agents, lenders, brokers, attorneys, and industry professionals preferred.
• Experience reviewing title reports, resolving title defects, liens, encumbrances, and other closing issues.
• Excellent communication, customer service, and relationship-building skills.

• Ability to sit, stand, and work at a computer for extended periods throughout the day.
• Occasionally lift and carry up to 20 lbs.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple transactions and deadlines in a fast-paced office environment.
• Professional written and verbal communication skills.

• Manage end-to-end escrow transactions, including opening files, preparing documents, coordinating closings, and disbursing funds.
• Serve as the primary liaison between buyers, sellers, lenders, real estate agents, and attorneys.
• Order and review title reports while resolving title defects, liens, and encumbrances.
• Prepare, review, and execute escrow and closing documents accurately and in compliance with regulations.
• Conduct client signing appointments and explain escrow processes and closing paperwork.
• Develop and maintain strong referral relationships with real estate agents, lenders, and business partners.
• Ensure all transactions comply with company policies and state and federal regulations.
• Successfully complete client-required background check and drug screening.
