Looking for Landscape and Winter Services Technician jobs in Wilmington where you can work outdoors and make a visible difference every day? This opportunity lets you help maintain attractive, safe, and well-kept landscapes while supporting the appearance and functionality of parks, businesses, or residential properties.

Job Duties

• Mow lawns and maintain landscaped areas.
• Operate lawn mowers, weed eaters, and other landscaping equipment.
• Perform trimming, edging, clean-up, and general property maintenance.
• Load and unload equipment and materials.
• Assist with snow and ice removal during the colder months.
• Follow safety procedures and supervisor instructions.
• Meet at the company shop at the scheduled start time and ride with the team to assigned worksites.

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous landscaping, grounds maintenance, horticulture, or related training is beneficial.

Experience Requirements

• Ability to safely operate landscaping tools and outdoor maintenance equipment.
• Knowledge of basic lawn care, landscape maintenance, planting, trimming, and property upkeep.
• Ability to follow work schedules, safety procedures, and landscape maintenance plans.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining attractive outdoor environments.
• Dependable attendance and the ability to work effectively outdoors in changing weather conditions.
• Previous experience operating lawn mowers and weed eaters

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous groundskeeping, landscaping, lawn maintenance, property maintenance, or horticulture experience is preferred.
• Experience operating commercial mowers, string trimmers, blowers, hedge trimmers, or irrigation equipment is beneficial.
• Knowledge of plant care, irrigation systems, fertilization, seasonal maintenance, or landscape installation is considered an asset.
• Individuals who demonstrate reliability, initiative, teamwork, and pride in quality workmanship are well positioned for success as a Landscape and Winter Services Technician.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and perform physically demanding outdoor work throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull landscaping materials, tools, or equipment weighing up to 40 pounds.
• Ability to safely operate outdoor power equipment while maintaining awareness of surroundings.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while following established safety procedures.
