Schedule: M-F 7:30am-4pm, overtime is available when completing longer trips.

Job Duties

• Safely operate 26-foot box trucks to transport IT equipment throughout the NYC area and regional locations.
• Coordinate and execute white glove pickups of enterprise IT equipment from customer offices, data centers, and commercial buildings.
• Serve as a professional representative of the company during every customer interaction, demonstrating excellent communication, professionalism, and sound judgment.
• Load, unload, secure, and transport unboxed electronics and other technology equipment while maintaining chain of custody and protecting customer assets.
• Assist with inventory tracking, including scanning, documenting, and accurately processing hardware as required.

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver's license required. Commercial driver's license (CDL) may be required depending on the position.

Experience Requirements

• Safe driving history with a strong commitment to defensive driving practices.
• Ability to inspect vehicles, identify safety concerns, and complete required documentation.
• Knowledge of traffic laws, safety regulations, and proper cargo securement when applicable.
• Strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to meet delivery schedules.
• Professional communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
• Requires a valid driver's license, clean driving record, and minimum 2 years of commercial vehicle/box truck driving experience, including vehicles up to 26 feet or larger.
• Customer service, inventory/warehouse, independent work, and DOT knowledge are also required.minimum 2 years commercial driving experience; comfortable operating a 26-foot box truck; DOT knowledge; ability to travel regionally; strong customer service/communication skills; ability to work independently; attention to detail; ability to handle inventory; and ability to perform physical warehouse/facilities work

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous professional driving, delivery, transportation, or logistics experience is preferred.
• Experience operating commercial vehicles, delivery trucks, box trucks, or tractor-trailers is beneficial depending on the assignment.
• Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELDs), GPS navigation, routing software, or transportation documentation is considered an asset.
• Individuals who demonstrate dependability, professionalism, and a commitment to safety are well positioned for success as a Box Truck Driver.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to sit for extended periods while safely operating a vehicle.
• Ability to enter and exit vehicles frequently throughout the workday.
• Ability to lift, move, or secure freight and materials when required by the assignment.
• Ability to perform vehicle inspections and work safely in varying weather and road conditions.

• Valid CDL-A license
• DOT Medical Card
• FMCSA Clearinghouse registered and clear MVR
• 1 year CDL experience (within the past 3 years)
• No more than 3 moving violations/at-fault accidents (within the past 3 years)
• No DUI, reckless driving, or serious violations (within the past 5 years)
• Candidates must be able to safely lift, move, load, unload, and transport equipment weighing + lbs
