Location: Dearborn, MI

Pay: $36.67+/hour

Schedule: Hybrid schedule, 4 days onsite per week

We are seeking a Vehicle Electrical Systems Architecture to support the development of next-generation electrical systems and vehicle architecture solutions. This role is ideal for an engineer with experience in systems engineering, electrical architecture, power distribution systems, or complex electrical network design. You will help define system requirements, support architecture development, and contribute to innovative technologies for future mobility platforms.

Education Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Physics, or a related technical field.

Experience Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in electrical systems design, systems engineering, electrical architecture, or related engineering disciplines.
• Experience developing, managing, and validating technical requirements.
• Knowledge of electrical networks, power distribution systems, and system integration.

Preferred Qualifications

• Understanding of Systems Engineering principles, including requirements management, verification, validation, and interface management.
• Familiarity with ISO 26262 functional safety standards.
• Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE).
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to utilize AI-powered tools for engineering analysis and optimization.
• Master's degree or advanced technical education preferred.

Job Duties

• Support the design and development of future electrical architecture concepts and system solutions.
• Translate vehicle and business requirements into engineering specifications and architecture requirements.
• Manage requirements throughout the development lifecycle, including verification and validation activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure system integration and performance.
• Analyze complex electrical systems and recommend architecture improvements.
• Support documentation, testing, and engineering reviews.
• Contribute to innovative solutions that improve reliability, scalability, and system performance.

Qualified candidates must be available to work onsite in Dearborn, MI four days per week.
