Spectra Tech has an immediate need for a Communications Specialist 4 in Los Alamos, NM.

Summary
Responsible for a wide variety of internal and external communications activities, strategic and tactical, conceptual and deliverable. Attains measurable results and improves continuously.

An expert who applies broad and deep experience and demonstrated expertise while consistently exercising good (and frequently independent) judgment. Effectively develops objectives and strategies and has considerable success persuading others to adopt them. Works on unusually sensitive or complex issues, offers and applies solutions that are highly effective. Works under consultative direction toward predetermined long-range targets. Virtually self-supervisory, often initiating his or her own assignments. Work products generally require no significant rework. Actively enhancing management and leadership skills, consistently exhibiting desired traits. Excels at giving and receiving coaching and constructive criticism.

Education
Position typically requires a bachelor's degree and a minimum of twelve years related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. At this level, post graduate course work may be expected.
Typically requires at least 12 years of related experience. Graduate degree or postgraduate coursework may be expected.
