What You'll Do

Transform Data into Insights

• Aggregate, integrate, and manage data from multiple systems including Epic, Titanium, Point and Click, Maxient, REDCap, and other institutional data sources.
• Perform statistical analyses to identify trends, patterns, opportunities, and areas for improvement across Student Well-being programs and services.
• Evaluate data quality, investigate anomalies, and ensure the integrity and reliability of reporting.
• Create dashboards, visualizations, scorecards, and reports that communicate findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Develop recurring reporting processes and key performance indicator (KPI) tracking in partnership with departmental leadership.
• Produce monthly, quarterly, annual, and ad hoc reports that support operational and strategic decision-making.
• Serve as a trusted resource and steward for well-being data requests across the university.

Partner with Leaders to Drive Strategy

• Collaborate with Student Affairs leadership to define reporting needs and analytical priorities.
• Present findings, recommendations, and performance trends to leadership teams and stakeholders.
• Support institutional surveys, benchmarking initiatives, and reporting efforts with campus and national partners.
• Lead annual assessment activities and facilitate discussions that advance research, evaluation, and continuous improvement.
• Research emerging trends and best practices in student wellness, higher education, and analytics.

Advance Quality Improvement and Research

• Support quality improvement initiatives through data analysis, assessment planning, and evaluation.
• Collaborate with leadership to ensure accurate, actionable clinical and operational data that supports student outcomes.
• Develop and facilitate training opportunities that build assessment and analytics capabilities among staff.
• Assist with accreditation preparation, site visits, compliance reporting, and ongoing readiness activities.
• Identify opportunities to improve workflows, services, and operational effectiveness through data-driven recommendations.

Contribute to a Collaborative Community

• Build strong partnerships with Student Affairs, Institutional Research, Family Medicine & Community Health, Undergraduate Education, and other campus stakeholders.
• Participate in cross-functional initiatives that support the university's mission and strategic priorities.
• Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned in support of departmental and university goals.

What You'll Bring

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Data Analytics, Higher Education, Public Health, Social Sciences, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• Three years of relevant experience in data analysis, assessment, research, reporting, or decision support.
• Strong foundation in statistical analysis and quantitative research methods.
• Experience utilizing statistical software, preferably SPSS.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data management tools.
• Excellent analytical, written, verbal, and presentation skills.
• Demonstrated initiative, curiosity, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in higher education, healthcare, student affairs, public health, or wellness environments.
• Knowledge of outcomes-based assessment and quality improvement methodologies.
• Familiarity with SQL, database management, and enterprise reporting systems.
• Experience creating dashboards and visualizations using Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools.
• Knowledge of business intelligence, scorecards, KPI reporting, and performance measurement.
• Experience conducting quantitative and qualitative research, including focus groups and interviews.
• Understanding of student development theory and higher education assessment practices.
