Description Job Title: Equipment Maintenance Engineer - Ion Implant / Semiconductor Location: East Fishkill, NY Employment Type: Contract Industry: Semiconductor Compensation: $80 - $100/Hr. Schedule: 40+ hours Tool experience: AMAT/Varian: VIISta 810 EHP/XPT (Medium Current) VIISta 80HP, HCP/HCS/Trident (High Current) 9003D (MEHD2) Axcelis: HE3 Purion EXE (High Energy) Purion H200 (MEHD) Purion M (Medium Current) What You'll Do: Utilize diagnostic equipment to monitor equipment performance, diagnose the root cause, and make reliability improvement recommendations. Dismantle, adjust, and repair equipment in accordance with maintenance specifications and repair manuals. Use schematics, hand tools, electrical gauges, and common test equipment for calibration, diagnosis, and repair of equipment. Drive solutions and guidelines, recommending and writing maintenance procedures and specifications. Perform scheduled tool qualifications. Vendor management and coordination. Job Requirements What You'll Bring: Minimum 5 years of ion implant equipment maintenance experience, including knowledge of implant and/or EPI equipment, general process theory, equipment mechanics, and electronic and mechanical systems and controls. What Sets You Apart: Prior experience working in a 300mm semiconductor fab environment. Experience with 5S processes and principles.
