Job Summary

Leadership & Team Management

• Supervise daily activities of stockroom staff, including assigning, monitoring, and coordinating work. [Stockroom Clerk JD | Outlook]
  
• Provide coaching, training, and performance direction to ensure consistent execution of material handling standards.
  
• Maintain high levels of organization, communication, and teamwork aligned with Ducommun core values. [Stockroom Clerk JD | Outlook]

Material Handling & Inventory Control

• Oversee receiving, picking, kitting, stocking, and movement of materials across the site. [Stockroom Clerk JD | Outlook]
  
• Ensure accurate inventory system updates, including cycle counting, reconciliation, and discrepancy resolution.
  
• Ensure proper handling, storage, identification, and traceability of materials per company and regulatory requirements.
  

Compliance & Documentation

• Ensure strict ITAR compliance regarding controlled materials and communication channels. [Stockroom Clerk JD | Outlook]
  
• Enforce adherence to ISO procedures, safety protocols, and Ducommun operational standards.
  
• Maintain clean, safe, organized stockroom and storage areas.
  

Continuous Improvement & Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Partner with Planning, Production, Purchasing, and Quality to support ontime manufacturing and customer delivery.
  
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to material flow, space utilization, and stockroom efficiency. [Stockroom Clerk JD | Outlook]
  
• Assist in developing standard work, guidelines, and process improvements.
  

Systems & Equipment

• Ensure proper use of ERP/MRP systems for inventory management and reporting.
  
• Oversee the safe operation of forklifts, cherry pickers, carts, and other material handling equipment.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of inventory control, cycle counting, material flow, and warehouse best practices.
  
• Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and manage multiple operational tasks.
  
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and problemsolving skills.
  
• Comfortable working with computers and enterprise software systems.
  
• Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs and operate material handling equipment.

Required Experience and Education

• High School Diploma or GED required.
  
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in stockroom/warehouse/material handling; leadership experience preferred.

Base Compensation: USD 71,000.00 - 85,000.00
