At a Glance

Pay: $46.12 per hour per Local 589's CBA for
Journeyman level; dependent on relevant knowledge, skills, training,
experience, and market conditions.

Employment Type: Non-Exempt

Location: This role is responsible for
providing service support across the Iron Range and Duluth, MN regions and will
report out of our Virginia, MN office.

Required Experience: Journeyman level plumbing
experience is required.

What You'll Do

• Install, repair, and maintain
  plumbing and piping systems in commercial, institutional, industrial, and
  public buildings according to service orders.
• Work collaboratively with
  other trades and laborers to ensure all specifications are met and work is
  completed efficiently.
• Perform all tasks in
  compliance with industry standards, plumbing codes, and safety
  requirements.
• Review and interpret work
  orders, completing the requested work with minimal direction, and
  enter/close work orders within the service software platform.
• Operate a variety of tools
  and equipment necessary to perform plumbing and piping work.
• Request and requisition
  repair parts and equipment as needed.
• Follow all established safety
  procedures and comply with company policies and standards.
• Consistently adhere to all
  safety protocols and vehicle related
  policies.
• Perform additional duties and
  responsibilities as assigned.

What We're Looking For

• Required
  Qualifications
• Minnesota State Plumbing
  license is required.
• RPZ license is required.
• Demonstrated knowledge of
  plumbing codes and the ability to perform plumbing repairs, maintenance,
  and installation using proper techniques is required.
• Working knowledge of
  low-pressure steam systems is required.
• Must be able to read and
  interpret blueprints, diagrams, schematics, and written reference
  materials; perform necessary mathematical calculations; and accurately
  diagnose and resolve issues.
• Ability to safely and
  effectively use a variety of hand and power tools.
• Ability to learn and utilize
  a service software platform.
• Must be willing and able to
  work varying shifts, including weekends, holidays, and emergency on call assignments as needed.
• Strong interpersonal skills,
  with the ability to represent the company professionally, ethically, and
  in alignment with our values and mission.
• Must join Local 589 union.
• Must possess and maintain a
  valid state driver's license.
