How will you fit in the big picture?

Working independently this role focusesonthedesign,development,andoptimizationofpackagingsolutionsthatensure product protection, functionality, and sustainability. The positioninvolves managing tactical plans alignedwith short-term business objectives and addressingmoderate to complex challenges that impact multiple teams within the division. The rolerequiresadvanced expertise in executing processes and projects related to packaging, including materialselection, structural design, and compliance with industry standards and within strategicguidelines. This rolerequires significant cross-functional collaboration, and has increasedownership and scope acting as primarypackaging support for single plant, brand or category. Thisrole collaborates with peers to improve ways of working and share BDP's.

What will you do?

  • Design Packaging Solutions -The role designs, develops, and optimizes packaging solutions
    ensuring product protection, performance, and sustainability. It applies engineering knowledge to
    meet requirements. This delivers quality packaging.
  • Select and Qualify Materials -The role selects and qualifies packaging materials and components
    based on product requirements and cost. It evaluates environmental impact and manufacturing
    capabilities. This ensures optimal selections.
  • Apply Manufacturing Knowledge -The role applies strong manufacturing and equipment
    knowledge to ensure packaging meets production requirements. It validates designs for
    manufacturability. This enables efficient production.
  • Support Product Development -The role supports product development through packaging
    engineering expertise. It contributes to specifications and testing. This advances development
    progress.
  • Document Technical Work - The role documents technical work and maintains packaging specifications. It ensures records are accurate and accessible. This supports knowledgemanagement.

Minimum Requirements

  • 3+ Years of Packaging Engineering experience
  • Product Packaging - The technology of enclosing or protecting products for distribution, storage, sale, and use. Packaging also refers to the process of design, evaluation, and production of packages.
  • Problem Solving - Problem Solving is a step-by-step process of defining a problem, searching for information,and testing a series of solutions until the problem is solved. In involves critical thinking,analysis and persistence.
  • Data Integrity - Data Integrity refers to maintaining and assuring the accuracy and consistency of data overits entire life-cycle, and is a critical aspect to the design, implementation and usage of any system which stores,processes, or retrieves data.
  • Collaboration - Collaboration is working together in a cooperative effort to achieve a common goal. It is thepromotion of teamwork and the linkage of intra and interdepartmental cooperation.
  • Planning - Ability to anticipate resource needs and then arrange, prioritize and shape activities to meet
    objectives.

The anticipated base salary range for this role is $92,160to $115,200per year. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of jobrelated factors, including, but not limited to, experience, skill set, education, and training. In addition to a market-competitive base salary, our Total Rewards package includes performancebased incentives and a comprehensive, competitive benefits package designed to support overall physical, mental, and financial wellbeing (as applicable).
