Under the general direction of the designated supervisor, coordinates Continuum of Care (CoC) programs to address housing instability and/or homelessness in the County. This position coordinates programs for people experiencing a housing crisis; develops related partnerships; collects data; analyzes performance measures; and monitors related budget expenditures.

Essential job functions:

• Develops plans and strategies to address homelessness in the County, including researching best practices, analyzing needs, and preparing presentations for the BOS, Continuum of Care (CoC), Department of Housing and Community Development, and community partners.
• Coordinates homeless services and program funding, including identifying and applying for federal, state, and other grants.
• Supports the CoC by coordinating meetings, preparing materials, maintaining records and policies, ensuring FOIA compliance, and supporting the Point-in-Time homeless count and community outreach.
• Promotes homeless programs and services and builds partnerships with community agencies and organizations.
• Analyzes homelessness data, prepares reports, identifies trends and service needs, and recommends policies and programs based on findings.
• Performs other essential duties as assigned.
  

Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Social Work, Psychology, or related field; three (3) years of related work experience in homeless services, social services, or human services; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Pass pre-employment credit, criminal, DMV, and Child Protective Services (CPS) background checks. Valid driver's license and good driving record (driving records may be reviewed annually for continued qualification). Hold or obtain certifications related to homeless services, social services, or human services desired.
