Electronics Technician - Calibration *Premium Posting*

*Premium Posting* Position to be located at the Sub Base.

Utilize high accuracy/high precision laboratory measurement standards to calibrated ship's installed equipment. Personnel will be required to perform measurements/calibration in the areas of pressure, electrical and temperature. Personnel will be required to perform calibration to include, but not limited to: temperature, pressure and differential switches, pressure, depth and differential gauges, transducers, temperature detectors, and regulators. They will also be required to perform test and or calibration using various test instruments to include, but not limited to the following: digital and analog portable gauge calibrators, function generators, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, digital pressure indicators, dead weight testers, manometers, barometers, analog pressure gauges, digital multimeters, ground fault and temperature meters. Requirements also include knowledge of measurement principles, applied mathematics, use of test equipment and calibration procedures.

Completion of specialized schooling beyond high school in the Physical/Dimensional/Electrical field e.g. Technical Institutes, Armed Forces Technical Schools etc. or the Industrial Technical equivalent of same.

Three years experience with Physical/Electrical calibration/testing.

Laboratory / Calibration experience preferred.

Experience with the usage and testing of function generators, oscilloscopes, and spectrum analyzers preferred.

Candidate must be highly organized, self-motivated, work independently, and able to effectively work to production schedules.
