Job DescriptionJob Title: Outreach coordinator Office Location: Omaha, NE Position Classification: Non-Exempt Wage: $19 to $21.00 EXPERIENCE EXTREME CUSTOMER SERVICE Primary Objectives of Position: Responsible for the coordination and oversight of activities and services related to the Work Experience Program component. Evaluates compliance with policies and procedures and adherence to contract requirements. This position also works jointly with the Career Navigators and the Business Services Team to ensure the coordination of services related to Work Experience (WEX) participants and Employers for this activity. This position is also responsible for establishing and cultivating relationships with participants, employers, and community agencies to achieve project enrollment goals. This position also provides administrative support to project leadership in a variety of areas including Human Resource assistance, training documentation, procurement documentation, accounts payable functions, purchase order request, routing correspondence and reports. Essential Job Functions:
Education: Bachelor 's degree from an accredited four-year college or equivalent experience, preferably in implementation or interpretation of policies and procedures and/or workforce development. Experience: At least 1-year experience building business relationships OR at least 1 year related workforce development experience. Skills/Abilities: Must possess strong computer skills, with experience using word processing and spreadsheet software programs. The position requires excellent analytical and organizational skills and the ability to communicate effectively orally, in writing, or through electronic means. Must also have the ability to make effective speeches and presentations to public groups, and/or staff. Must be able to read and understand performance reports. Additional Requirements: Must have valid driver's license and adequate vehicle insurance coverage.
