Inside Sales and Customer Account Coordinator

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Inside Sales & Customer Account Coordinator serves as a key liaison between customers, sales representatives, and service and project managers. This role is responsible for supporting business development efforts, managing customer accounts, coordinating sales activities, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction throughout the sales and service process.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, customer-focused, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities while supporting revenue growth and long-term customer relationships.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Build and maintain positive relationships with customers through proactive communication and follow-up.
• Conduct rotational customer health checks with accounts assigned with a focus on cross selling and updating customer information (contact, A/R, billing, etc).
• Send out seasonal marketing campaigns targeting existing client base.
• Respond promptly to customer proposal inquiries and assign to the appropriate BD Rep, Service Manager or Project Manager.
• Maintain accurate customer records and account information within CRM and company systems.
• Support Business Development reps with lead generation activities utilizing lead generation systems.
• Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities within existing customer accounts and hand off to appropriate BD Rep, Service Manager or Project Manager.
• Generate and qualify leads through outbound calls, email campaigns, networking contacts, and referrals.
• Schedule customer meetings and coordinate sales appointments.
• Maintain opportunity data and reporting within CRM platforms.
• Assist with prospect research and target account identification.
• Prepare reports on sales activity, customer engagement, and business development metrics.
• Coordinate communication between customers, project managers, service teams, and sales representatives.
• Generate customer reports, service histories, and account summaries as needed.

JOB SPECIFICATION:

Education/Experience:

• Associate degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred.
• 2+ years of customer service, inside sales, account management, or sales support experience.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams.
• Experience utilizing CRM systems and sales tracking tools.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Professional demeanor with excellent customer relationship skills.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Experience supporting a B2B sales organization.
• Experience in construction, commercial services, facility management, or related industries.
• Familiarity with CRM platforms such as Dynamics 365, and lead generation systems such as zoominfo, Ontopical, Seamless.
• Business development support experience.

Starting pay ranges from$24-28 per hourplus commission, based on experience and qualifications.
