Program Representative

Electric Boat Department 411 Life Cycle Programs is seeking a motivated individual to join our Model Based Planning Yard Team. This team is responsible for the transformation of the Life Cycle Directorate to utilize Model Based designs and implement Model Based solutions supporting our customers both internal and external.

About this group:

Model Based Planning Yard is a new team focusing on driving efficient uses of Model Based Tools, Artificial Intelligence, and Technical Variance Documentation. This team is tasked with capturing, pioneering, and prioritizing all Life Cycle Support Directorate efforts associated with becoming the leading Model Based Planning Yard in the Naval Nuclear Propulsion Program.

Role Overview:

The Program Representative will provide input to the Electric Boat Enterprise in interpreting requirements for Technical Variance Documentation incorporation into the Ship's Drawing Index and development of Ship Specific Disclosures for COLUMBIA Class. The Program Representative will coordinate a network of Life Cycle Support subject matter experts to ensure all individual needs and concerns associated with the delivered Ship's Drawing Index are addressed. The Program Representative will be a critical member for understanding and translating maintainers expectations of Technical Variance Documents to both internal and external customers

Key Responsibilities:

Applicant will network with all Life Cycle Support departments to understand and own customer expectation for Technical Variance Documentation and an effective Ship's Drawing Index.
• Applicant will regularly brief Life Cycle Support Directorate leadership on understanding of products being delivered by new construction to the maintainer

Required:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Business Management, Data Analytics, Business Administration or a related field or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Experience using Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance through the DoDD

Preferred:

• Prior Navy Experience (especially on Submarines)
• Experience in managing client relationships and handling client issues
• Experience in Earned Value Management
• Experience working with schedule planning tools
• Previous complex construction configuration management experience

• Understanding of engineered systems
• Ability to focus on the details
• Strong organizational skills
• Interest in understanding a technical disposition
