Traveling Laminator

STS Technical Services is hiring a Traveling Laminator based out of Postville, Iowa, to support manufacturing and production operations involving industrial presses and material preparation.

This role is designed for candidates with hands-on manufacturing experience who can operate production presses, monitor heat, pressure and timing requirements, prepare materials and maintain accurate production documentation.

The Traveling Laminator is responsible for operating production presses and supporting the preparation, loading and breakdown of materials throughout the laminating process.

This position requires careful attention to press settings, material weights and established production procedures while maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

• Operate production presses
  
• Monitor press heat settings
  
• Monitor pressure settings throughout production
  
• Monitor press timing requirements
  
• Inspect b-stage material
  
• Weigh b-stage material according to production requirements
  
• Assist with press load setup
  
• Lay up material for press loads
  
• Break down completed press loads
  
• Operate the Buffer as needed
  
• Operate Shears as needed
  
• Cut Release Film
  
• Operate a forklift as needed
  
• Complete required paperwork accurately
  
• Maintain plant cleanliness and appearance
  
• Follow all established plant safety procedures
  

• High school diploma or GED
  
• Six months to one year of related experience
