Make it happen at Hopkins. Unit: Endoscopy Suite Working Hours: Full Time; 40 hours/week Shift: Mon- Fri + call; shifts vary; 6am-6pm Job Details & Qualifications: Sibley Memorial Hospital is a private, not-for-profit community hospital offering the advanced technology of a leading health system with the close-knit collaboration of a community setting. The Endoscopy Technician, under the direction of a registered nurse, prepares the procedure room, selects and organizes the equipment, assists the physician, participates in an orderly and efficient room turnover based on a knowledge of endoscopic procedure, physician preference and patient care principles. Prepares and maintains all endoscopic equipment. This includes the cleaning and disinfection of endoscopic equipment, the cleaning and sterilization of accessory equipment, and the maintenance of a clean, orderly environment. Salary Range: Minimum $18.40/hour - Maximum $28.88/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
