Position Title: Brake Press Set Up
Wage: Up to $29.00/hour, 2nd-shift differential if applicable Shift: 1st or 2nd We're hiring for a Brake Press Set Up Technician in Germantown, WI. This is a full-time (temp-to-hire or direct hire) opportunity on 1st or 2nd shift. Brake Press Set Up Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Set up and operate a brake press on light-gauge materials to blueprint specs - Set up tooling, back gauges, and programming offsets - Read/interpret blueprints; hold tight tolerances - Perform first-article/in-process inspections and adjust as needed - Maintain equipment, 5S, and safety compliance - Document production and report issues Brake Press Set Up Requirements: - 5+ years of brake press set-up and operation (light-gauge sheet metal) - Strong blueprint reading; proficient with calipers/mics/protractors - Basic CNC press brake programming/offsets preferred - Able to lift 40-50 pounds; stand for full shift - Preferred experience with Amada/Trumpf/Bystronic - Preferred knowledge of bend allowance/K-factor; aluminum/stainless forming IND159 QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
