Salary Range: $ 75,000.00 - $100,000.00 annually. Compensation will be commensurate upon experience and qualifications. This position is Exempt from the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) overtime provisions.

Summary The duties and responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to the following:
This position provides both clinical and non-clinical services. Clinical services entail clinical psychology and counseling services to UCCS students, whose personal/emotional life interferes with their ability to perform academically. The direct clinical services include:

• Directly responsible for development, and execution of our neuropsychological offerings at the WCMHS including the educational materials around all neuropsychological testing.

• This position will change or adapt our offerings as the need arises around neuropsychology. Additionally, responsible for creating an annual budget and managing both income and expenses for all assessment needs to operate all testing services

• Responsible for all testing online materials, equipment needed, and pen/paper assessments.

• Expanding assessment services and tools throughout all mental health services.

• Partner with the WCMHS Director of Clinical Training (DCT) to provide training and supervision for trainees who participate in the testing services.

• Partner with UCCS Disability Services team for testing services that impact accommodations for UCCS students and provide the most up to date education to the Disability Servies team.

• Develop a crisis/emergency plan, train all staff/trainees on the process, and regularly evaluate the effectiveness of the plan and along with remaining up to date on most current research around college campus crisis/emergency needs.

• Respond to psychological crises/emergency walk ins or calls to the WCMHS; be available to make assessments; and carry out crisis/emergency interventions; in addition to contribute to on-call duties of the WCMHS clinicians.

• Responsible for developing and implementing data collection strategies to keep track of various Mental Health Service data to help contribute to data collection of services provided by the WCMHS, analyze the collected data to be able to inform service decisions based on outcomes information, and assist with billing of non-Wellness Center units/agencies when needed.

• Psychotherapy services in individual therapy, group therapy, couple therapy, and family therapy formats.

• Whenever clinically necessary, make appropriate referrals to on- and off campus services and being available to contribute to case consultations with these agencies.

• Whenever there are referrals (both general and mandatory) from other offices in the university for services (i.e. education/outreach, counseling, and evaluations), providing the required support service and/or assisting other clinicians in carrying out the request as needed.

• As WCMHS accepts graduate students, predoctoral psychology interns and post-doctoral fellows from psychology, social work and counseling programs from both UCCS and other schools, sharing the clinical supervision load of these students with other clinicians. Regularly participate in supervision consultation and training.

• Attend all the staff meetings and administrative meetings that are related to position's responsibilities.

• Maintain accurate information on the WCMHS website as well as take the lead on WCMHS materials used around campus. Partake in the WCMHS staffs' efforts to organize and coordinate campus-wide education and prevention programs and assist in efforts to address the developmental needs of the campus.

The following knowledge base and skills sets are critical for this position:

• Must have experience with psychological, educational, and neuropsychological assessments (administration, report-writing and providing feedback to all relevant stakeholders)
• Must have experience providing clinical assessment supervision for trainees;
• Experience with risk assessment and crisis intervention strategies is required.
• Experience in creating and implementing processes for an organization or team is required.
• Must have experience with common psychological disorders (i.e. eating disorders, psychological trauma related disorders, substance abuse and dependence, mood and anxiety disorders, suicide and violence risks, psychotic disorders) and developmental and academic challenges of traditional, and nontraditional college students;
• Must have experience with short-term psychotherapy modalities in individual, group, couple, and family therapy formats.
• Experience with supervising graduate students who have various
• levels of education, training, and experience is required.
• Must have experience with effective data collection and the ability to articulate the findings.
• Must be able to create and deliver psychoeducational presentations that can speak to and address the students, faculty and staff on a college campus.
• Active Colorado psychologist license or is eligible to obtain Colorado Psychologist license within 3 months of employment. Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree or Doctor of Psychology degree is required.
• A preferred qualification is experience in supervising employees.
• A preferred qualification is to be fluent in Spanish and can provide clinical services to UCCS students in Spanish.
