What this job involves:

As a Leasing Specialist at JLL, you'll be the welcoming face of a brand-new multifamily residential community in beautiful Coral Gables, turning prospects into residents and creating exceptional experiences from first contact through move-in. Fluency in both English and Spanish is required for this role. This position blends sales expertise with genuine relationship-building as you showcase stunning apartments, close leases, and support residents throughout their tenancy. You'll stay ahead of market trends through weekly competitor research, collaborate with marketing teams to maximize property visibility, and ensure every interaction reflects our commitment to outstanding service. What your day-to-day will look like:

  • Maintain leasing office, model units, vacant apartments, and common areas to meet JLL readiness standards, promptly reporting any deficiencies to the property manager
  • Conduct weekly competitor shopping and market surveys to maintain comprehensive knowledge of local market conditions, rental rates, and competitive positioning
  • Partner with marketing teams to develop and execute lead generation strategies, manage social media channels, coordinate resident events, and conduct neighborhood outreach to increase property visibility
  • Present the property, amenities, and available units to prospective residents with professionalism and expertise, employing effective sales and closing techniques including timely follow-up
  • Manage the complete rental lifecycle: respond to inquiries across all channels, convert leads to appointments, input guest cards into property management software, process applications, verify information, and prepare lease documentation
  • Coordinate move-in preparations by inspecting units, arranging lease signings, and providing comprehensive move-in information to ensure smooth resident transitions
  • Respond promptly to resident inquiries and concerns, document service requests, communicate with maintenance teams, and conduct follow-up calls to ensure satisfaction
  • Assist with resident-related functions including processing move-out notices, coordinating transfers, managing work orders, and resolving concerns with professionalism and efficiency
  • Support the property manager in maintaining established standards for grounds, safety, cleanliness, and overall property appearance

Required qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum one year of sales and/or customer relations experience demonstrating strong interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency with property management software (Yardi, RealPage, or similar platforms)
  • Excellent customer service abilities with a professional demeanor and attention to detail
  • Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to interact effectively across diverse audiences
  • Ability to work independently while contributing collaboratively within team environments
  • Must obtain real estate leasing license within 120 days of employment if required by state law

Expected Schedule: 40 hours per week across 5 days, Saturday and Sunday availability is required

Preferred qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, hospitality, or related field
  • Previous experience in residential property leasing or multifamily housing
  • Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets and occupancy goals
  • Experience with social media management and digital marketing strategies
  • Familiarity with Fair Housing regulations and best practices

Te mantendras al tanto de las tendencias del mercado mediante investigacion semanal de la competencia, colaboraras con equipos de marketing para maximizar la visibilidad de la propiedad y garantizaras que cada interaccion refleje nuestro compromiso con el servicio excepcional. Como sera tu dia a dia:

  • Mantener la oficina de arrendamiento, unidades modelo, apartamentos vacantes y areas comunes para cumplir con los estandares de preparacion de JLL, reportando oportunamente cualquier deficiencia al gerente de la propiedad
  • Realizar compras semanales de la competencia y encuestas de mercado para mantener un conocimiento completo de las condiciones del mercado local, tarifas de alquiler y posicionamiento competitivo
  • Asociarte con equipos de marketing para desarrollar y ejecutar estrategias de generacion de clientes potenciales, administrar canales de redes sociales, coordinar eventos para residentes y realizar alcance comunitario para aumentar la visibilidad de la propiedad
  • Presentar la propiedad, amenidades y unidades disponibles a residentes potenciales con profesionalismo y experiencia, empleando tecnicas efectivas de ventas y cierre, incluyendo seguimiento oportuno
  • Administrar el ciclo completo de alquiler: responder consultas a traves de todos los canales, convertir clientes potenciales en citas, ingresar tarjetas de visitas en el software de administracion de propiedades, procesar solicitudes, verificar informacion y preparar documentacion de arrendamiento
  • Coordinar preparativos de mudanza inspeccionando unidades, organizando firmas de contratos y proporcionando informacion completa de mudanza para garantizar transiciones fluidas de residentes
  • Responder oportunamente a consultas e inquietudes de residentes, documentar solicitudes de servicio, comunicarse con equipos de mantenimiento y realizar llamadas de seguimiento para garantizar satisfaccion
  • Asistir con funciones relacionadas con residentes, incluyendo procesamiento de avisos de mudanza, coordinacion de traslados, administracion de ordenes de trabajo y resolucion de inquietudes con profesionalismo y eficiencia
  • Apoyar al gerente de la propiedad en mantener los estandares establecidos para terrenos, seguridad, limpieza y apariencia general de la propiedad

Horario: 40 horas por semana durante 5 dias, se requiere disponibilidad sabados y domingos

Cualificaciones requeridas:

  • Diploma de escuela secundaria o equivalente
  • Minimo un ano de experiencia en ventas y/o relaciones con clientes demostrando fuertes habilidades interpersonales

  • Excelentes habilidades de servicio al cliente con comportamiento profesional y atencion al detalle
  • Fuertes habilidades de comunicacion escrita y oral con la capacidad de interactuar efectivamente con audiencias diversas
  • Capacidad para trabajar independientemente mientras contribuye colaborativamente dentro de entornos de equipo
