JOB DESCRIPTION: APPLE INC has the following available for System Product Design Engineer (REQ# 200678519) in Austin, Texas. Dimension and determine the tolerance of engineering drawings with high volume mass production. Review test and measurement data from engineering builds and iterate it on test definition as necessary to ensure design feasibility. Maintain awareness of state-of-the-art thermal and air moving technologies and determining which concepts may be worthy to pursue. Develop and prototype innovative thermal module and cooling fan concepts using analysis and first principles engineering. Determine methods to attach thermal modules to SoC’s to optimize performance and reliability.
