JOB SUMMARY:

Apply the principles, techniques and best practices in the planning, organizing and implementation of high-profile projects that are complex and not always clearly defined. Manage multiple cross-functional projects with the goal of obtaining synergy between projects. Partner with stakeholders across the organization to execute initiatives and projects aligned with key priorities. This will include creating new work products and processes where none exist and/or refining and improving existing processes and ways of working.

JOB ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Initiate, plan, execute, control, and close cross-functional infrastructure initiatives involving cloud migrations, platform modernization, hardware and software upgrades, disaster recovery enhancements, enterprise technology implementations, and other strategic infrastructure programs.

  • Align infrastructure initiatives with business priorities, technology roadmaps, operational objectives, business continuity requirements, and modernization strategies.

  • Coordinate infrastructure deployment schedules, testing activities, production implementations, maintenance windows, and transition-to-operations activities to minimize business disruption.

  • Assess, mitigate, and monitor project risks; develop contingency and recovery plans; and provide recommendations to leadership regarding risk exposure and project health.

  • Ensure adherence to infrastructure standards, security requirements, architecture guidelines, change management processes, operational procedures, and regulatory compliance requirements.

  • Manage relationships with technology vendors, consultants, and service providers to ensure deliverables are completed according to project objectives, schedules, budgets, and contractual commitments.

  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with business partners, technology teams, stakeholders, and external customers throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Facilitate executive, stakeholder, and project team communications, providing clear visibility into project progress, milestones, risks, and outcomes.

  • Leverage Artificial Intelligence (AI) enabled tools and technologies to enhance project planning, reporting, documentation, communications, risk analysis, and overall project delivery effectiveness.

  • Support operational readiness activities including documentation, training, knowledge transfer, monitoring, and post-implementation stabilization to ensure successful project adoption and transition to support teams.

  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and requirements.

JOB SCOPE:

Incumbent works under minimal direction and uses independent judgment to identify issues, trends & problems and recommend action plans and evaluate results on projects that may not be clearly defined and are large in scope. Work is varied and complex, requiring the individual to use expertise and a broad range of knowledge gained through extensive experience. The position works with internal and external sources to complete objectives, keeping the needs of external and internal customers as a priority when making decision and taking action. May act as a mentor to less experienced team members.

JOB REQUIREMENTS (Education, Experience, and Training):

  • Minimum Bachelors degree in related field, or 4 years of related experience. Graduate degree a plus.
  • Minimum 7 years experience in a Project Management capacity, preferably in a fast paced, rapidly changing business.
  • Experience in a Project Management Organization preferred
  • Required licensures, professional certifications, and/or Board certifications as applicable
  • Knowledge of Healthcare industry and understanding all major workflows associated with healthcare claim processing preferred
  • Communication (oral, written and listening), project management, analytic, organization, interpersonal, prioritization, multi-tasking, initiating, communication, planning and technical skills
  • Ability to lead, develop, mentor and coach team
  • Ability to use software and peripherals related to performance of job responsibilities, including Jira & Confluence
  • Ability to facilitate teams and client relationships to satisfy needs and identify improvements
  • Ability to develop strong relationships with all levels of management
  • Ability to demonstrate commitment to excellent customer service and follow-through
  • Ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects including continuous evaluation and re-ordering of priorities for self and staff as business needs dictate
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from internal and external customers
  • Ability to be flexible and creative in problem solving and identifying process improvements
  • Ability to anticipate business needs and think with a business owner mind-set
  • Ability to recognize and apply project management best practices to fit a variety of situations
  • Ability to adhere to corporate work ethic standards

COMPENSATION

The salary range for this position is $100,000k- $115,000k per year. Specific offers take into account a candidate's education, experience and skills, as well as the candidate's work location and internal equity. This position is also eligible for health insurance, 401k and bonus opportunity.
