Job Summary
The Social Media Senior Specialist, is responsible for implementing, and managing the Spectrum Brand's social media initiatives to enhance brand awareness, drive engagement, and support the commercial operations objectives. This role will support paid social tasks, including campaign creation, pacing, and monitoring. The Social Media Senior Specialist will work closely with cross-functional teams, on both organic, paid, influencer, and social commerce strategies, ensuring a cohesive and effective social media presence for the Global Pet Care & Global Home Care brands. Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop and help manage social media programs across key platforms (e.g., Meta, TikTok), within Paid, Organic, Influencer & Social Commerce
- Ensure campaign setup, trafficking, creative, tracking, and reporting requirements are completed accurately and within agreed lead times.
- Monitor campaign delivery and performance daily, optimizing budgets, pacing, targeting, placements, and creative elements in line with defined KPIs.
- Review media plans and campaign builds, providing recommendations and constructively challenging inputs to ensure alignment with objectives & platform best practices.
- Lead conversations with platform partners on troubleshooting, campaign setup, best practices, platform recommendations, and issue resolution.
- Stay current with industry trends, platform updates, tools, and best practices to ensure the company's social presence remains innovative and competitive.
- Post organic & influencer content on social media handles, maintaining consistency with brand voice and content calendar.
- Monitor competitive activity in paid and organic spaces for creative inspiration and emerging opportunities.
- Partner with brand marketing teams to support the utilization & expansion of social commerce (e.g., TikTok Shop) for Spectrum Brands
Education and Experience Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Journalism, Communications, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of hands-on experience in social media management
- Strength in multi-tasking & teamwork
- Expertise in and the love for the social ecosystem
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Understanding of social campaign objectives, buying methods, audience targeting, bid strategies, placements, creative formats, tracking, measurement, and setup guardrails.
- Familiarity with brand safety, verification, responsible advertising, and media buying requirements across paid social environments.
