Job Summary: The Project Development Representative provides support to one or more outside project sales representatives while also working independently at times. The Project Development Representative and Estimator prepares proposals and project estimates for building mechanical systems, including HVAC and Controls projects, leveraging extensive experience and subject matter expertise in maintaining and upgrading these systems. The role performs field site visits and surveys to accurately develop scopes of work and cost estimates that meet owner project requirements. The representative also works with suppliers and/or subcontractors as required to secure competitive pricing for outsourced project requirements and scopes. The Project Development Representative interprets project scope in collaboration with Project Service Representatives and other relevant groups to finalize the scope, cost estimates, overall value proposition, and final written deliverable. Project sizes can range from $1,000 to over $500,000. Key Responsibilities:
