JOB OVERVIEW:

This position is responsible for working on problems of a diverse scope and moderate impact where analysis of data requires a review of a variety of factors. Use best practices and knowledge of business strategy to solve complex problems; recommend solutions to business challenges. Demonstrate good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. Network with senior internal and external personnel in own area of expertise.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage category portfolio, including overall positioning, introducing new products and managing resource and cost-savings projects, with oversight and support from leadership
  • Support new product launches by gathering product information to support claims and briefing documents and manage through to completion
  • Brand Trademarks - Manage trademark process in association with Henry Schein legal teams. Ensuring brand Trademarks and Registrations are current. This includes researching new brand names, submitting requests, tracking approvals and usage guidelines
  • Support brand transitions, including facilitating project trackers and product reports (existing and competitive)
  • Assist with Brand Guideline development and maintenance
  • Coordinate with third-party agencies and vendors to ensure project timelines are adhered to, and deliverables are met
  • Perform additional duties and projects as assigned

SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

  • Knowledge of the dental market preferred
  • Strong brand management skills with demonstrated ability to create, launch and manage successful global product brands
  • Understand, interpret and act on financial information and data that contributes to business results and profitability
  • Good research skills with ability to develop, implement and interrupt voice of customer research on brand and product insights
  • Content development, business process planning and marketplace assessment
  • Requires creativity, conceptualizing, project management and collaboration skills in a matrix environment
  • Ability to plan and manage successful projects; understand available resources, develop timeline, budget, assign tasks and areas of responsibility
  • Strong planning and organizational skills and techniques
  • Ability to lead virtual teams

MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE:

Typically 5 to 7 or more years of increasing responsibility in terms of any applicable professional experience.

PREFERRED EDUCATION:

Bachelor's Degree or global equivalent in related discipline. Master's degree or global equivalent a plus. May hold one or more industry certifications; professional certification may be required to advance.

The posted range for this position is $83,018-$114,150, which is the expected starting base salary range for an employee who is new to the role to fully proficient in the role. Many factors go into determining employee pay within the posted range including prior experience, current skills, location/labor market, internal equity, etc.

This position is eligible for a bonus not reflected in the posted range.
