Project Accounting Supervisor *remote*

Kratos has an exciting opportunity in Colorado Springs, CO, for aiProject Accounting Supervisor. The ideal candidate is an experienced individual with leadership abilities and an understanding of project accounting and ASC 606 Revenue Recognition guidelines. Knowledge and ability to provide oversight and backup help on billing, cash receipts, collections, bad debt, project systemic setup, purchase order analysis, fair value analysis, revenue recognition, project cost analysis, deferred revenue, yearly tax binders, and financial statements and reporting. Ability to work with multiple departments within the company including purchasing, contracts, project managers, executives, operations, and engineers to ensure accurate accounting on projects.

• Management experience with a team of 3+ employees with the ability to lead, cross train on duties, and develop team members.
• Intermediate Excel experience using formulas, tables, and pivot tables.
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in highly demanding settings.
• 7+ years of accounting/financial experience working with GAAP, SOX guidelines, DCAA, and FAR regulations.
• Minimum of a Bacheloris degree in Accounting or related field required.
• Knowledge of ASC 606 revenue recognition guidelines and their relation to purchase order accounting.
• Experience in accounting system testing and report building.
• Verbal and written communication skills to ensure ease of working with internal and external stakeholders.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Experience using Deltek Costpoint
• Experience in project accounting or government contract accounting

The grade-based pay range for this job is listed below. Individual salaries within that range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, and skills.

Competitive salary based on experience and education
Salary Range: $110,000-$120,000
