Pharmacy Assistant

Position Summary: Employees will need to be able to follow on screen prompts to ensure all orders are both picked and packed according to program specifications. These tasks will require a keen attention to detail. There may be occasional mandatory overtime necessary in order to complete the daily workload.

Key Responsibilities:

* Processes orders for shipping

* Folds and packs paperwork with prescriptions to prepare for shipping

* Sorts orders by store location and places in totes for shipping

* Loads product into truck

* Complies with policies, procedures and SOP's

* Adheres to and promotes the Company's Shared ICARE principles

Qualification & Experience:

* Pharmacy Assistant certification, Once hired, employees will be required to obtain a KY Board of Pharmacy Technician License at their own expense, $25. This can be completed on site.

* Able to lift and carry 20-25 pounds

* Understands and abides by federal and state HIPAA laws as well as pharmacy standard procedures to ensure patient safety and privacy.

* Demonstrate problem resolution skills: ability to recognize, address and escalate issues to management.

Working Conditions & Physical Demands: Able to lift and carry 20-25 pounds. Performs warehouse operations such as packing prescriptions, receiving and shipping. Maintains continuous and consistent work flow in order to meet daily production goals; and has the ability to work productively either independently or as a team with acute attention to detail while performing repetitive tasks.
