The Commercial Financial Consultant plays a key role in expanding the Investment Management Group (IMG) brand, deepening client relationships, and driving assets under management (AUM) growth. This individual will develop and execute strategic sales and marketing initiatives that create meaningful engagement with commercial clients, prospects, and trusted advisors.

Working closely with Commercial Banking partners, the consultant will identify opportunities within existing client relationships and prospect portfolios, delivering tailored wealth management solutions designed to meet the complex financial needs of business owners, high net worth families, non-profits, and corporate retirement plans. Externally, this individual will cultivate and strengthen relationships with accountants, attorneys, and other key centers of influence to generate referral opportunities and expand IMG's presence in the market.

Success in this role requires exceptional relationship-building skills, a consultative approach, and the ability to establish credibility and trust with both internal partners and external referral sources.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic sales and marketing initiatives to enhance the IMG brand and drive growth in assets under management.
  • Partner with Commercial Banking teams to identify opportunities within existing client and prospect relationships.
  • Build and maintain strong referral networks with accountants, attorneys, and other professional advisors.
  • Deliver consultative wealth management solutions tailored to the unique needs of business owners, executives, and high-net-worth individuals.
  • Foster trusted relationships that result in long-term client engagement and referral growth.
  • Represent IMG in the marketplace through networking, community involvement, and targeted business development activities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proven ability to build strong relationships and influence clients, partners, and centers of influence through a consultative approach.
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
  • Highly organized with strong time management and business development planning capabilities.
  • Self-motivated professional with the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams.
  • Demonstrated success executing disciplined, multi-faceted sales and marketing strategies.
  • Energetic, entrepreneurial, and relationship-driven professional with a passion for wealth management and client success.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of successful sales, business development, wealth management, or financial services experience.
  • CFP designation or progress toward certification highly preferred.
  • Working knowledge of wealth management, investment advisory services, financial planning, fiduciary services, and insurance solutions.
  • Experience serving business owners and delivering comprehensive financial strategies tailored to their unique needs preferred.

The salary range posted reflects the company's goodfaith estimate of the range for this position at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary. In addition to base salary, certain positions may be eligible for additional compensation, including commissions, incentive awards or stipends.
