- High school diploma or GED preferred.
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of electrical assembly or related experience
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, travelers, and technical documents
- Experience with soldering, desoldering, and electronic component assembly
- Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and basic electrical test equipment
- Basic math and measurement skills
Job Duties
- Assemble electrical panels, circuit boards, and related components according to schematics, drawings, and work orders
- Pull required parts from inventory and complete assemblies following established job sequences and quality standards
- Perform soldering, desoldering, wiring, and component installation
- Inspect and test assemblies to ensure proper function and workmanship
- Complete production documentation, production cards, and inventory transactions accurately
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area
- Work closely with team members and follow direction from supervisors and lead personnel
- Support Lean, Kaizen, and 6S initiatives for continuous improvement
- Perform other duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in manufacturing, production, assembly, fabrication, or mechanical assembly is preferred.
- Technical training, vocational education, or manufacturing coursework is beneficial.
- Experience working with pneumatic tools, torque tools, fixtures, or assembly equipment is beneficial.
- Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, quality inspection procedures, or continuous improvement practices is considered an asset.
- Individuals who demonstrate strong craftsmanship, dependability, teamwork, and attention to detail are well positioned for success as a Electrical Assembler.
Physical Capabilities
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive assembly tasks throughout the shift.
- Ability to lift components, materials, or finished products weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Manual dexterity to safely operate hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment.
- Ability to maintain focus while performing detailed assembly work in a manufacturing environment.
