The Supervision and Risk Management (SRM) Division of the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City ensures bank holding companies, savings and loan holding companies, and state-chartered member banks are safe, sound, and comply with federal consumer protections laws and regulations. Within this SRM Division, we have a challenging and rewarding career opportunity for a management position within the Consumer Affairs (CA) Department. As a manager in the CA Department, you will partner with other leaders to oversee the consumer compliance supervision function of the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City. You will leverage regulatory knowledge and supervisory experience to directly lead employees engaged in the supervision of compliance with consumer protection laws and regulations, including fair lending and the Community Reinvestment Act, at community and regional banking organizations in the Tenth Federal Reserve District of the Federal Reserve System. In this role, we encourage creativity and inclusion and support innovative approaches to work processes. You will be expected to problem solve for complex or problematic supervisory matters and some adversarial circumstances. You will also work amongst various teams and colleagues to determine strategic goals and initiatives and make supervisory decisions. You will also be expected to communicate, facilitate, and deliver information and presentations to a wide variety of individuals, including high-level leadership. In addition to these supervisory responsibilities, you will be responsible for attracting, motivating, and developing talent. Key Activities:
