Position Summary
The Talent Acquisition Partner [C] is a highly experienced, handson recruiter who will own endtoend recruiting delivery for the Advanced Surgery Business Unit, primarily supporting roles across Engineering, R&D, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, and select Commercial functions within Germany and the broader EMEA region. This role operates within an external vendor model and requires a recruiter who can quickly establish credibility with senior hiring leaders, manage a demanding requisition workload (12+ open roles at any given time), and provide consultative, marketdriven guidance with minimal rampup or oversight. The ideal candidate brings deep technical recruiting expertise, strong knowledge of the Syracuse, NY labor market, and the ability to execute with urgency in a fastpaced, matrixed, and regulated medical device environment.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Advisory & Stakeholder Partnership
- Serve as a Recruiter and trusted talent acquisition advisor to hiring managers and senior leaders within the Precision Medicine Business Unit.
- Partner closely with HR Business Partners, TA leadership, and business stakeholders to align hiring strategies with business priorities.
- Provide datadriven insights on market conditions, talent availability, location strategy, and hiring tradeoffs.
- Proactively identify hiring risks and recommend solutions related to timing, skill scarcity, and competitiveness.
FullCycle Recruiting Delivery
- Independently manage the full recruitment lifecycle for a diverse portfolio of technical and operational roles, from intake through offer and close.
- Successfully manage and prioritize a full requisition workload spanning multiple functions and hiring managers.
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies using LinkedIn, professional networks, direct outreach, referrals, and other creative channels.
- Build and maintain strong, reusable talent pipelines for critical and recurring roles within Precision Medicine.
- Screen, assess, and present highquality candidate shortlists, providing clear, consultative feedback to hiring teams.
- Manage interview processes, including phone/video screens, panel interviews, and onsite interviews as required.
Vendor Process Excellence
- Operate as an embedded Talent Acquisition partner within a vendor model while fully aligning to Novanta's recruiting standards, tools, and culture.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation within the Applicant Tracking System (Workday preferred).
- Deliver against agreed service levels, hiring goals, and quality expectations.
- Use recruiting metrics and market data to continuously improve hiring outcomes, speed, and candidate experience.

Required Experience, Education, Skills & Competencies
- Bachelor's degree preferred (Human Resources, Business, Engineering, or related field) or equivalent professional experience.
- 7+ years of fullcycle recruiting experience, including support of technical and operational roles in complex, matrixed organizations.
- Demonstrated experience recruiting within Manufacturing environments.
- Proven ability to manage high requisition volumes while maintaining quality, stakeholder satisfaction, and candidate experience.
- Strong sourcing expertise and track record of building diverse and inclusive talent pipelines.
- Experience operating within an RPO or highly processdriven recruiting environment strongly preferred.
- Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (Workday preferred), LinkedIn, MS Office, and related recruiting technologies.
- Strong consultative, communication, and influencing skills with the ability to partner effectively at all levels.
- Fluency in English language required.
