CHA Consulting, Inc. is seeking a Utilities Engineer - Water/Wastewater to join our Water Team in Georgetown, TX. In this role, you'll gain hands-on experience supporting the planning, design, and improvement of vital water and wastewater infrastructure projects. Working alongside industry experts, you'll have the opportunity to build technical skills, contribute to meaningful work, and grow your career while helping deliver reliable and sustainable water systems for communities across the region.



What You'll Do:

    Assist in the design, development, and implementation of technical solutions for water and wastewater infrastructure projects, such as treatment facilities, pipelines, pumping systems, and stormwater solutions
  • Support senior engineers in preparing technical reports, contract documents, and cost estimates
  • Perform calculations and design tasks using industry standards, regulatory guidelines, and best practices for sustainable water and wastewater systems
  • Join field assignments with senior staff to gain hands-on experience in assessment, planning, and rehabilitation of water and wastewater infrastructure systems


What You Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering required
  • No experience required; however prior internships and/or relevant coursework are preferred
  • Strong theoretical foundation and familiarity with engineering software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, SolidWorks, etc.)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Excellent communication skills and a desire to work in a collaborative team
  • Participation in professional engineering society/organization preferred
  • Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification a plus

Salary Range:

$75,000 - $78,000

Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
