Position Summary (Hybrid Schedule)
The Payroll Specialist is an advanced-level position that is responsible for all payroll functions reporting to the VP of HR. This position requires thorough knowledge of payroll rules and regulations, organizational structure and systems, accounting, auditing and government regulations. Key areas of responsibility include analysis, research and use of judgment in conjunction with the preparation of payroll entries, payroll reporting, year-end W-2 processing and payment of contributions to vendors and plan administrators. Additionally, the Payroll Specialist serves as primary liaison to payroll processing vendors and internal and external auditors. May lead projects and/or act in a liaison capacity between other departments, divisions or outside organizations. Responsibilities

Requirements
Minimum Education - High School Diploma
Minimum Experience - 8+ years related, relevant payroll experience; Experience with equity based compensation is a plus
Professional Certifications - Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) preferred
