ARTHUR J KRENER MATH FELLOW POSITIONS IN MATHEMATICS

The Department of Mathematics at the University of California, Davis is soliciting applications for one or more Arthur J Krener Math Fellow positions starting July 1, 2027.

The Department seeks applicants with excellent research potential in areas of faculty interest and effective teaching skills. Applicants are required to have completed their Ph.D. by the time of their appointment, but no earlier than July 1, 2023. The annual salary is anticipated to be currently $87,447. The teaching load is 4 quarter-long courses. Fellow appointments are renewable for a total of up to three years, upon demonstration of satisfactory performance in research and teaching.

As a condition of employment, the finalist will be required to disclose if they are subject to any final administrative or judicial decisions within the last seven years determining that they committed any misconduct, are currently being investigated for misconduct, left a position during an investigation for alleged misconduct, or have filed an appeal with a previous employer.
