Description MaineHealth Corporate Professional - Nonclinical Req #: 89307 Position Summary The Talent Acquisition Partner is responsible for developing and executing innovative, strategic recruitment solutions that attract and hire high-quality talent across assigned job families in a mission driven, fast paced environment. Serving as a trusted advisor to hiring leaders, this role partners closely with department leadership to understand workforce needs, develop effective recruiting strategies, and deliver exceptional talent acquisition services that support organizational goals. This position is a hybrid role that has in-person requirements as needed by the business. The Talent Acquisition Partner manages the full-cycle recruitment process, from workforce planning and intake consultations through candidate selection, offer negotiation, and preboarding support. This position leverages workforce analytics, market intelligence, and recruitment best practices to achieve best-in-class hiring outcomes while ensuring a positive candidate and hiring manager experience. Key Responsibilities Strategic Workforce Planning & Consultation
- Serve as a strategic talent advisor to assigned departments and leaders regarding staffing needs, workforce trends, and talent acquisition strategies.
- Consult with department clients to determine short and long-term workforce requirements based on succession planning, projected growth, anticipated turnover, organizational initiatives, and new program development.
- Partner with leaders to identify recruitment challenges and proactively develop solutions to address current and future talent needs.
- Provide labor market insights and recruiting expertise to influence hiring decisions and workforce planning efforts.
Recruitment Strategy & Execution
- Conduct intake sessions with hiring managers to establish recruitment expectations, define position requirements, and align on hiring timelines and service level agreements.
- Develop and implement customized recruitment plans for assigned departments and critical positions.
- Collaborate with TA marketing teams to create targeted recruitment campaigns and talent attraction strategies.
- Utilize a variety of sourcing methods including applicant tracking systems, social media platforms, professional networks, referrals, job boards, and community outreach initiatives.
Candidate Assessment & Selection
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from requisition approval through offer acceptance.
- Screen and assess candidates using structured interviewing and evaluation methodologies to ensure alignment with organizational and position requirements.
- Evaluate candidate qualifications, competencies, experience, and cultural fit.
- Facilitate and coordinate interview processes, ensuring a consistent and positive candidate experience.
- Provide hiring managers with recommendations and guidance regarding candidate selection decisions.
Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong partnerships with hiring managers, department leaders, HR colleagues, and key stakeholders.
- Serve as a primary point of contact and trusted advisor regarding recruitment-related matters.
- Foster positive relationships with candidates to strengthen the employer brand and candidate experience.
- Collaborate with internal teams to support organizational recruitment initiatives and process improvements.
Data Analytics & Continuous Improvement
- Track, analyze, and report recruiting metrics including time-to-fill, quality-of-hire, candidate pipeline activity, source effectiveness, and hiring manager satisfaction.
- Utilize data and trends to identify opportunities for process enhancements and recruitment strategy optimization.
- Maintain accurate and timely records within the applicant tracking system and other recruitment technologies.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment regulations and organizational policies.
Market Intelligence & Professional Development
- Maintain current knowledge of labor market trends, talent acquisition best practices, healthcare workforce challenges, and emerging recruitment technologies.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance recruiting expertise and industry knowledge.
- Actively support employer branding initiatives and represent the organization at recruitment events, career fairs, networking opportunities, and community engagement activities.
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field preferred.
Certifications
- Professional Human Resources certification (PHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP) preferred.
- Healthcare recruitment certification preferred.
Experience
- Minimum of three (3) years of Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, or Recruitment experience required.
- Healthcare recruitment or healthcare industry experience preferred.
- Experience managing full-cycle recruitment across a variety of positions and organizational levels preferred.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Strong understanding of full-cycle recruiting processes and talent acquisition best practices.
- Ability to build trusted partnerships and influence decisions at all organizational levels.
- Knowledge of workforce planning, succession planning, and employment law.
- Strong interviewing, candidate assessment, and selection skills.
- Experience utilizing applicant tracking systems and recruitment technologies.
- Ability to analyze recruitment data and leverage metrics to drive decision-making.
- Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and project management abilities with attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
