We are seeking a Technology Development Infrastructure Architect to design, deploy, and maintain the infrastructure ecosystem supporting internal applications and training platforms. In addition to infrastructure architecture and operations, this role will contribute to capability building by delivering technical workshops and developing training programs in infrastructure domains such as Kubernetes, Linux, and cloud platforms. 1. Infrastructure Architecture & Design
- Define end-to-end infrastructure architecture for internal platforms and services
- Design scalable environments including compute, storage, and networking
- Establish best practices for cloud and hybrid infrastructure setups
- Standardize reusable infrastructure patterns across projects
2. Deployment & Operations
- Design, deploy, and operate environments for:
- Virtual machines (VMs)
- Container platforms (e.g., Kubernetes)
- Backend storage and databases
- Develop and maintain infrastructure-aligned technical components, including:
- Backend services and APIs supporting internal platforms
- Standalone backend processes, automation scripts, and service integrations
- Lightweight frontend components where required (e.g., dashboards, interfaces)
- Participate in backend development activities to support infrastructure and platform integration needs
- Implement infrastructure provisioning aligned with DevOps practices (IaC where applicable)
- Ensure high availability, resilience, and disaster recovery
- Recommended technical stack (flexible):
- Backend / scripting: Shell (any), TypeScript (Node.js), Python
- Runtime / platform: Node.js and related frameworks
- Open to alternative technologies based on solution requirements
3. Networking & Security
- Architect secure networking environments (VNet, routing, firewalls)
- Implement identity and access management (IAM) strategies
- Ensure compliance with Nokia security and data protection standards
- Support secure integration across platforms and services
4. Platform Performance & Scalability
- Design load balancing and auto-scaling strategies
- Monitor system performance and optimize infrastructure cost and efficiency
- Ensure reliable global service delivery for applications and training platforms
5. Training & Enablement
- Design and deliver technical workshops and hands-on training sessions on:
- Kubernetes (deployment, orchestration, scaling)
- Linux system administration
- Cloud infrastructure fundamentals
- Develop learning materials including labs, demos, and exercises
- Support internal capability development and onboarding initiatives
- Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for infrastructure-related topics
6. Collaboration & Governance
- Work with application developers, AI teams, and training solution owners
- Participate in technical design reviews and solution architecture decisions
- Provide guidance on infrastructure and platform best practices
- Align with enterprise architecture and compliance frameworks
- Strong communication, listening and coordination skills.
