Duration: 3 months

Shift: 1st Shift

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM

We are seeking an experienced Phlebotomist to support a busy patient service center in Wichita, KS. The ideal candidate will have prior phlebotomy experience, strong pediatric blood-draw skills, excellent customer service, and the ability to work independently.

• Perform routine laboratory blood draws, approximately 10-15 draws per day.
• Perform drug screens and paternity testing.
• Collect, process, and properly handle laboratory specimens.
• Order and maintain laboratory supplies.
• Ensure accurate patient identification, specimen collection, labeling, and processing.
• Provide professional and compassionate customer service to patients.
• Perform pediatric blood draws and demonstrate strong venipuncture skills.
• Work independently while maintaining productivity and accuracy.
• Follow all applicable laboratory procedures and safety protocols.

• Busy patient service center with approximately 2,500 sq. ft.
• Mornings are typically busy, with a slower pace during the afternoons.
• Approximately 2 hours of standing is expected.
• Employee will primarily work independently.

• Previous phlebotomy experience is required.
• High School Diploma or higher.
• Pediatric phlebotomy experience.
• Strong venipuncture/"good stick" skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Reliable and dependable.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Approximately 2 weeks of training will be provided at the beginning of the assignment.
