Description and Requirements

About Our Team

We are building Qira, Lenovo's next-generation cross-device Personal AI platform, and extending it into an enterprise-ready solution for business customers worldwide. As an AI Enterprise Engineer, you will own major enterprise capabilities that enable organizations to deploy, secure, manage, and integrate Qira at scale.

You will design and deliver production systems end-to-end while partnering closely with engineers across enterprise and consumer AI teams. This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy building enterprise software, solving complex integration challenges, and delivering customer-facing functionality that directly impacts product adoption.


What You'll Do

  • Own the design, implementation, testing, and operation of significant enterprise platform capabilities.
  • Build backend services and APIs supporting enterprise administration, governance, security, and integrations.
  • Develop enterprise identity solutions including SSO, SAML, OAuth, RBAC, MFA, and tenant management.
  • Build integrations with enterprise systems including identity providers, workflow platforms, business applications, and enterprise knowledge sources.
  • Partner with engineers across Qira platform teams to incorporate enterprise requirements into shared services and capabilities.
  • Participate in architecture and design reviews and contribute technical recommendations.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues across multiple systems and services.
  • Improve platform reliability, observability, scalability, and maintainability.
  • Contribute to cloud deployment, portability, and BYOC capabilities.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to engineering best practices.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years developing production software systems.
  • Experience in one or more modern languages such as TypeScript, Python, Go, Java, or Rust.
  • Experience building APIs, backend platforms, distributed systems, or cloud-native applications.
  • Experience working with cloud platforms and modern software delivery practices.
  • Experience independently delivering significant features or services.
  • Strong understanding of system design fundamentals.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience building enterprise software products.
  • Experience with authentication, authorization, or enterprise identity systems.
  • Experience with AI-powered applications, LLM integrations, RAG systems, AI agents, or intelligent workflows.
  • Experience integrating SaaS platforms and third-party enterprise systems.
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure and infrastructure-as-code.
  • Experience working across teams to deliver shared technical solutions.
  • Experience with AI-assisted development workflows.
The base salary budgeted range for this position is $128K - $145K. Individuals may also be considered for bonus and/or commission.
