As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Vehicle Patrol in Whittier, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Cultural Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a cultural institution, you will drive assigned routes, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service to visitors and staff. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors, families, staff, and vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies at a memorial park and cultural institution location.
• Respond to incidents, visitor concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of grounds, buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, provide directions and assistance, and support a respectful, welcoming environment during services, events, and daily operations.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activity accurately, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or equivalent.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
