Warehouse Worker Team Lead - Inventory

The Warehouse Team Lead provides warehousing, transportation, inventory control, people supervision, work load planning, proficiency and usage of Hilti system applications for warehouse operations. The position includes interfacing with sales, customer service, credit, and other areas at corporate headquarters. Assists in the managing & training of distribution staff to achieve company goals in service and distribution.

• Execute all floor shop management tasks - Workload balancing, performance, and Best Practice Process management
• Run daily floor operations and direct warehouse team members to ensure execution of the defined Distribution Center (DC) targets.
• Run & supervise all daily business elements in the absence of DC management.
• Assist the DC Manager in operational aspects including but not limited to:

• Other duties as assigned.

• Minimum High School Diploma or GED
• Associates Degree or Bachelors Preferred
• Basic understanding of warehouse management systems, SAP preferred
• Functional Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
• 2 years' experience in a warehouse environment

The salary range for this role considers the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skills sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At Hilti, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $26.00/hr. - $30.00/hr., with bonus of $1,000 -$2,500.
