Role Overview

The GI Certified Surgical Technologist supports patients before, during, and after endoscopic procedures. This role requires strong technical knowledge, attention to sterile technique, and experience handling endoscopic equipment.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent
Surgical Technologist Certification required
Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program (ARC/STSA)
NBSTSA certification required
Current OR or Ambulatory Surgery experience

Knowledge of:
Surgical instrumentation and equipment
Sterile and aseptic technique
Endoscope care and handling
Commitment to I.C.A.R.E. standards
Ability to provide culturally sensitive, patient-centered care
