As a Security Officer Patrol in Lenoir, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Security Officer in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, support access awareness, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities within a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, loading and receiving areas, parking lots, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or conditions that may need attention.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access for personnel and/or visitors, and help support the orderly movement of people, vehicles, and deliveries at the location.
• Assist with security-related procedures for trailer yards, docks, and warehouse areas, helping to report policy violations, hazards, and/or operational disruptions according to post instructions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
