As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Response in Grove City, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a financial institution location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. In this role, you will support access awareness, assist with customer service, and communicate clearly with staff and visitors while reflecting our agile, reliable, innovative culture and commitment to teamwork and integrity.

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial services location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, helping to confirm that only authorized individuals enter restricted areas.
• Report maintenance concerns, suspicious activity, and/or policy violations to appropriate personnel, and assist with follow-up according to post instructions and Allied Universal standards.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
