Background & Purpose of the Job:

The BI Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining analytics solutions that support manufacturing, sales, service, and finance operations. This role ensures the accuracy and integrity of data across SAP S/4HANA, Salesforce Service Cloud, Microsoft SQL Server, and other integrated systems. The BI Developer translates business requirements into actionable reports, dashboards, and data models, enabling informed decisionmaking across the organization. This position supports a fastpaced, cando culture and plays a key role in continuous improvement of reporting, data governance, and analytics processes.

Who You Are & What You'll Do:

  • Develop, enhance, and maintain Qlik dashboards, data models, and ETL processes.

  • Integrate data from SAP S/4 HANA Sales (SD), Finance (FI/CO), Salesforce Service Cloud, and Microsoft SQL.

  • Ensure data quality, consistency, and governance across all analytics solutions.

  • Collaborate with demand planning, sales, service, and finance teams to understand business processes and reporting needs.

  • Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve data issues, performance bottlenecks, and integration challenges.

  • Create and maintain documentation, including data dictionaries, process flows, and user guides.

  • Introduce and maintain reporting on data quality, metrics, and trends.

  • Participate in the design and delivery of new systems and integrations requiring SAP or Salesforce data.

  • Serve as a liaison between business teams, IT, and technical partners to ensure alignment on data usage and reporting standards.

  • Execute mass data maintenance jobs and utilities as required.

  • Support testing and validation of changes affecting data models, integrations, or reporting.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to analytics, data governance, and reporting efficiency.

  • Demonstrate strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills while supporting a culture of continuous improvement.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with business and technical partners to advance analytics capabilities.


What You'll Need to Succeed:

  • Strong knowledge of Qlik development, scripting, and data modeling.

  • Must have strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA Sales (SD) and Finance (FI/CO) data structures.

  • Experience with Salesforce Service Cloud data models and integrations desired.

  • Strong Microsoft SQL skills, including writing and optimizing complex queries.

  • Ability to analyze, design, test, and troubleshoot data pipelines and reporting solutions.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast paced environment.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to solve complex problems independently and generate innovative solutions.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of multiple teams on overlapping projects.

  • Ability to deliver results under aggressive deadlines and shifting priorities.

  • Ability to quickly adapt to new technologies and processes.

  • Demonstrated ability to mentor and support team members.

  • Strong relationship management skills to collaborate with users and stakeholders.

  • Ability to write clear, logical reports and instructions.

  • Proven ability to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions.

  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Visio and PowerPoint.

Education and/or Experience

  • BA/BS degree in a related field or equivalent experience.

  • 5+ years of experience in BI/Analytics development with Qlik.

  • 3+ years of SAP experience with focus on Master Data, Sales, or Finance data structures.

  • Experience working with Salesforce Service Cloud a plus.

  • Strong experience with Microsoft SQL.

  • Experience executing data loads, monitoring extracts, and resolving data errors.

  • Understanding of manufacturing enterprise processes (finance, supply chain, sales, service).

  • Experience with SAP BW/4HANA, ECC, IDocs, or Z files a plus.

  • Experience with LSMW a plus.

  • Experience in manufacturing or distribution environments preferred.

  • Demonstrated ability to build strong partnerships with internal business groups.

Compensation:
Salary range of $85,000-$100,000, commensurate with experience.
