As a Security Officer Screener in Kenai, AK, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Screener in a government location, where you will help support a professional courthouse environment through screening procedures, monitoring entry points, and guiding visitors with clear communication and customer service. Pay Rate: $20.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, access control practices, and/or emergency response activities at a government location.
• Screen visitors, staff, and/or permitted items at designated entry points using assigned screening equipment and established post orders.
• Verify identification, review entry permissions, and/or direct visitors, contractors, and employees to the appropriate areas in a courteous, professional manner.
• Respond to incidents, prohibited item discoveries, and/or unusual situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting security-related concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of public areas, entrances, and/or perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and report security-related issues.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
