WHAT YOU'LL DO & HOW IT SHAPES OUR SUCCESS

The Jr IT Engineer- Security position exists to support Hallmark's technology security infrastructure and systems. This role is essential for maintaining and troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues, ensuring smooth daily operations.

Jr Engineers also help implement new technologies and provide technical support to employees, helping enhance efficiency and productivity. By handling routine tasks and first-level support, they allow more senior Information Security staff to focus on strategic projects and complex issues.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

The following are required to be considered for this role:



  • Bachelor's degree or 4 years' professional work experience
  • Experience in relevant security engineering software for the purposes of design, analysis, and simulation
  • Experience troubleshooting technical issues
  • Experience collaborating with teams and conveying technical information



PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Your resume will stand out if you have the following:



  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and any engineering software/tools
  • A strong academic record with a focus on engineering coursework
  • Any additional certifications or training related to the job
  • Security+, CySA+, Network+, GIAC Security Essentials, SC-900, AZ-900, ISC2 CC
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

  • This position offers a hybrid work arrangement, giving you the best of both worlds: collaborating in person at Headquarters in Kansas City, MO and enjoying the flexibility of working remotely.
  • The salary range for this role is $65,000- $90,000. Final compensation varies based on several factors.
